TUC Charges Police To Uncover Killers Of Olaitan

The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has charged Nigerian police to uncover the killers of Comrade Olaitan Oyerinde.
This was contained in a statement signed by the President of TUC, Comrade Peter Esele yesterday, wondering why the police are delaying its findings.
Esele while commenting on the issue cautioned the Nigerian Police not to hide under the disguise that the case is in court, from briefing Nigerians the outcome of their investigations.
“Oshiomhole is a seating governor of a state in this nation and the slain comrade in question is his personal aide, in fact Oshiomhole referred to him as his son. So if a seating governor in this country cannot get clean investigation by the Nigerian Police, what then is the hope of the ordinary man?” Esele questioned.
It would be recalled that Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole during the inauguration of a Code of Conduct for officers and men of Nigeria Police, had expressed anger over the shoddy handling of the matter by the police and called for the sacking of the Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG, Mr. Peter Gana and Deputy Commissioner of Police, Chris Ezike   for their ignoble roles in the investigation of the killers of Comrade Olaitan.
The IG, Mohammed Abubakar when asked to respond to the allegations had said, “This case is in court and it may be sub judicial if I comment on it. But we are going to respond to that comment at the appropriate time because he (Oshiomhole) made allegations that are unfounded”.

  1. Asking questions are genuinely fastidious thing if you are not understanding something completely, however
